California will likely be banning therapies for children and teens which seek to discourage homosexual orientation. SB 1172 is heading to Governor Jerry Brown’s desk for signing. He can either choose to sign it, veto it, or allow it to take effect without his signature by Sept 30.
When this bill passes in California, sex and gender role changes, as well as surgical changes, to opposite sex will be supported, while being encouraged to align the role to one’s physiology will be prohibited. The economy of that state will suffer additional deterioration as a result.
It remains obvious to health care practitioners that many homosexual practices are physiologically taxing, and cause additional need for health care services. From a biological standpoint, the fact that gay practices do not promote continuation of the species will not go away.
California is ill equipped at this time to support the economic and health care burdens which are imposed by its current, unbalanced approach to issues of human sexuality.

Local news: Earl Jones of Boone County KY, just across the river, got tired of being burglarized. This 92 year old veteran had recently replaced a gun which had been stolen, and plugged Lloyd Maxwell, one of a group of three “alleged” home invaders with his new .22 caliber rifle. That individual did not survive his injury. His accomplices, Ryan Dalton, 22 and Donnie Inabnit, 20, are charged with second degree burglary.

Sun Myung Moon, the Korean religious leader and founder of the Unification Church has died of pneumonia at the ripe age of 92. He leaves behind 10 surviving children out of 14, and his second wife, Hak Ja Han Moon. He was the founder of the Unification Church of about 3 million members, and significant financial assets. People remember Rev. Moon for his massive wedding ceremonies, involving thousands of followers, and any one else who wanted to be blessed. He’s also remembered for his interest in free speech and his dislike of communism.
Pharmer doesn’t remember Rev Sun Myung Moon claiming divinity along with his messianic ambitions. Unlike Obama, he did not promise to lower the seas. More like Romney, he wanted to help families ;-), as well as to bring peace and save the world.
The Moonies of the 70s and 80s did seem a bit brain washed to me. They seemed to exhibit some characteristics of the Scientologists, but it was less like slavery and it was easier to leave the Unification Church.
Most significantly, Pharmer liked Rev. Moon’s newspaper, the Washington Times. The reporters were meticulously accurate with their story details.
