Indiana Appeals Decision Against Planned Parenthood De-Funding Law | LifeNews.com.

Indiana is set to challenge the injunction set by Judge Tanya Walton Pratt against defunding of abortion.

It is also challenging the US health and human services decision to block amendments to the state medicaid plan.

Both cases will wind up in the US 7th Circuit court of appeals in Chicago.

Obama Demonstrates His Delusional Thinking

Nutty Obama  scolds congress today for failing to raise the debt ceiling.  This is a quote from his speech, revealing  his strategy to pay the debt by incurring more debt.

“These are bills that Congress ran up. The money’s been spent. The obligations have been made. So this is not a situation – I think the American people have to understand this – this is not a situation where you know, Congress is going to say, ‘Okay, we won’t buy this car or we won’t take this vacation.’ They took the vacation, they bought the car, and now they’re saying maybe we don’t have to pay or we don’t have to pay as fast as we said we were going to. That’s not how responsible families act. We’re the greatest nation on earth and we can’t act that way. So this is urgent and it needs to get settled.”

Vince Cefalu is the ATF agent who has revealed and criticized his employer for the fast and furious operation which now has the whole agency in hot water, as well as director Ken Melson, and US Atty. General, Eric Holder.

Supposedly the corruption prevention measures in the federal government confer protection upon whistleblowers……… except at the ATF, where firing them  is OK

It appears that Cefalu has been in hot water since 2005, when he exposed an illegal wiretapping done by the ATF.

A clerical error on a passport has landed Elisha Dawkins,  a veteran military photographer in jail.    Yep, he checked the wrong box regarding whether he had filled out a passport before.  Two months in the slammer so far.   You better watch how you fill out  those government forms.

Who would want to serve this kind of government voluntarily?

 

Blagojevich Convicted on 17 of 20 Counts

This is the result of a retrial following a deadlocked jury at the first trial.

Naturally, the clueless, former Gov. Rod Blagojevich is having a hard time accepting that selling a senate seat, and his other forms of fraud and extortion are criminal acts, and that he’s going to get jailtime for them.

 

Romney Triple Flush

The social leftist wing of the Republican Party has been casting about for the Romney substitute, because they know he’s too liberal to garner votes from conservatives.

1) Romney had to argue against Obamacare, after instituting Romneycare, which contains most of the unsavory aspects of Obama’s  healthcare mess.

2) Romney believes in the religion of global warming.

3) American Right to Life   (remember their huge protest  sign at the DNC convention?)  won’t let anyone forget that Romney isn’t serious about his pro-life claims.  They’ve visited his fundraiser in Denver with a devastating reminder.  You can see them at Jill Stanek’s. “Dogging Romney” is not  really new to this group.

Tom Blumer at the Bizzy Blog provides the evidence supporting  American Right to Life’s  sign in Denver which reminds us:  “Romneycare: 50$ copay abortions” See the images of Romney care features, including the tax payer funded abortions.  Blumer also reminds us that Romneycare came complete with tax penalties for those who did not provide proof of health care coverage.

Rick Perry put that TX law which would criminalize enhanced pat downs by the TSA back on the agenda for the special session of the legislature.   It has previously passed the house, but was pulled off the senate agenda after some sabre rattling by U.S. Atty. John Murphy.

FEMA Denials to Tornado Struck Homeowners: Insufficient Damage

This is priceless:  a look at an Alabama  home which FEMA considers “not unsafe to live in” and insufficiently damaged to be eligible for grants to rebuild. Jonathan Stewart received a letter based on a FEMA inspection stating just that.

This home owner has since found out that his insurance coverage will allow him to rebuild.  In other words, he had planned ahead sufficiently, and really would be better off without government assistance.  FEMA  could screw that up as badly as they did the home evaluation.

 

 

Non Productive Federal Department of Education

Fed. Gov‘t SWAT Team Busts Down Man’s Door Over Estranged Wife’s Student Loans | The Blaze.

Here’s another example of non-productive activity from your federal government, this time, the Department of Education.  It issued a warrant pursuant to collecting a student loan in Stockton, California.  The trouble is that they screwed up… and had the Swat team destroy the doorway of the loan recipient’s estranged husband and his three children.

Not able to correctly distinguish between the husband and wife, even by sex, they held  Mr. Kenneth Wright in a police car for hours, and no doubt, this and the search of his home was extremely disconcerting to the three young children.

Note:  The Stockton Police Dept. wished to emphasize that they did not exhibit nor take part in this degree of incompetence.
