U.S. Government Seizes BitTorrent Search Engine Domain and More | TorrentFreak.

This current  move is more about piracy, but is also to show  us how the government can censor, and quell dissent a bit.

Unfortunately the government has also seized domains which aren’t actually doing any piracy.  This kind of incompetence is par for the course.

The best part of the above linked articles is down in the comments, where you will learn to hold onto IP address of the sites you like the most and continue to use them after the govt has grabbed the domain name, and the various ways this can be done.  Also there are  alternative domain name servers and other web mechanisms such as Netsukuku, Osiris Serverless Portal, Tor hidden services.

Pharmer is no expert, but remains convinced that this mode of communication will not be easy for governments  to control.

Mail Online: TSA inspector side, and how to dodge the groping and scanners.

Now ‘abused’ TSA staff vent their anger at security patdown searches | Mail Online.

TSA inspections are possibly designed to give people a preference or a longing for the scanners, which are more impersonal, and feel less invasive.

It’s appears to be possible to offend the TSA’s trained  gropers if  a person’s personal hygiene is sub standard, or if their  body size is larger and there are additional crevices to be searched.

Perhaps adding some things for these government workers to find as they search would be fun.   Make it a treasure hunt.  Remember the old haunted houses with peeled grapes used to simulate  eyeballs, and spaghetti prepared  to simulate brains?  Imagine the TSA agent reaching into your pants, and pulling  out a special deposit of tripe, purchased from the local Walmart grocery.  Menudo!

Be creative….. and give them a day to remember.  A little Saran wrap against your skin would be a good idea to isolate whatever treasures you might be hiding.  It might also  slightly impede the transmission of unwanted organisms carried by the passenger in front of you.  The gate rapists are not washing and changing gloves between searches as they should.

Matt Kernan describes how he entered the U.S. from Paris without a body scan or pat down at the destination,  merely by politely resisting the attempts by security to do so.  After wearing down the TSA workers, their supervisors and the police, he was finally escorted out of the sterile area by a circuitous route, and allowed to proceed on his way.

Why The Catholic Bishops Don’t Get Donations From Pharmer

Pharmer continues the boycott of the US Catholic Bishops fundraisers, and here’s just one more reason.

This appeared in Pharmer’s Church bulletin during October, Pro-life month:

“The Indiana Bishops have asked that parishes and affiliated/associated organizations NOT distribute or allow distribution of Indiana Right To Life’s or county affiliate organization’s election materials.
The Indiana Right to Life has adopted a clearly partisan policy that effectively endorses ONLY Republican candidates for elected offices.
When the Indiana Right to Life Policy and materials are again non-partisan, with a focus on education and advocacy, parishes may be able to cooperate with the local and state organization during the election campaign once more.”

The use of the word “republican” in this announcement violates it’s own supposed non-partisan message. Thus it is internally inconsistent with the supposed spirit the Indiana Bishops are pretending to convey.

The reality is that the bulk of U.S. Bishops (outside of a persistently pro life minority) are paying lip service to pro-life ideals only due to the prodding of the pro-life Pope Benedict.

The Wallbuilders have established three years running that the churches need not fear the IRS removal of tax exempt status. Those preachers doing political advocacy from the pulpits, and sending the tapes to the IRS have yet to be taken to task. The IRS knows that it will lose this case in court, so it keeps silent, allowing the IRS intimidation of most pastors to proceed.

The Catholic Church in the United States ought not to specifically ally itself with any party, but it really needs to get out of bed with the pro-abortion, pro-infanticide, pro-euthanasia, pro-gay marriage, Pro-WAR, pro-slavery, anti-civil rights, Democrat party of the KKK. Those of us who know the history of the U.S. Wars and the above mentioned misbehaviors know which party has initiated and/or supported them in our government.

Any politically conscious person knows that the Republican party is not without stain, and this is why there is a TEA-party for one example. Pharmer has been boycotting the RNC appeals for many years, and assisting individual candidates in other ways.

Pro-life politicians need to find another party, because the Democrat party at the national level has been impervious to transformation on these issues, and defunds its pro-life candidates at the national level. Democrats have moved further left with their chosen president’s inclusion of actual infanticide as an extension of abortion.

The Indiana Right to Life Voter Guide has no endorsements included on the document. It has survey questions for federal and state candidates, followed by lists of the candidates (without party affiliation) and their replies to the questions.

Indiana Right to Life has issued a statement that it will back no Democrats this year, due in part  to the cooperation of Indiana Democrats with the pro abortion Obamacare.  The Democrat state officials have not allowed pro-life legislation to proceed in the Indiana legislature as well.  The Indiana Bishops are reminded of Independents, Teapartiers, and Libertarians which are active within the state, and which are not excluded from consideration.  It is revealed that the “only republicans” statement appearing in the church bulletin really means “no democrats”.

The Democrat Party Platform of 2008 on Abortion:
“The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v Wade and a woman’s right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right.”

“The Democratic Party also strongly supports access to comprehensive affordable family planning services and age-appropriate sex education which empower people to make informed choices and live healthy lives. We also recognize that such health care and education help reduce the number of unintended pregnancies and thereby also reduce the need for abortions.”

“The Democratic Party also strongly supports a woman’s decision to have a child by ensuring access to and availability of programs for pre and post natal health care, parenting skills, income support, and caring adoption programs.”

Why did Shirley Sherrod Resign from the USDA?

FOXNews.com – Video Shows USDA Official Saying She Didn’t Give ‘Full Force’ of Help to White Farmer.

There’s a big firestorm about a video of Shirley Sherrod, Georgia Director of Rural Development, giving a speech at an NAACP meeting, telling of her interaction with a White farmer who needed assistance to avoid losing his land.   This was said to be a very  old incident, her first interaction with a White farmer on the job.  Apparently her perception of his attitude caused her to offer him less than maximum help, and to refer him to one of his own.

A new story has surfaced, claiming that the wife of said farmer had a much different perception of Sherrod’s service, and was upset that she had lost her job.

The main question stemming from this incident is:  “WHY did Sherrod resign?   If she was wrongly accused of discrimination, as later news stories claim,  she should have refused to resign,  and fought dismissal  through the human services department and in court.

Discrimination would be quite hard to prove, in this old case,  if the supposed victims did not have a perception of being discriminated against.

Failures of political correctness have cost the jobs of countless  good workers.   Pharmer suspects that this will continue as long as these workers are willing to run and hide when accused of wrong speech or thought.

Among other possibilities, not mentioned in the news seen by this blogger thus far,   is that the agreement to resign was really a response  to a $$$$ buyout $$$$.

Shirley Sherrod  has a mixed past with the USDA, having sued them successfully for 13 million dollars as part of a minority group called New Communities.   She obtained  a $150,000 portion of that sum.

The video below is Ms. Sherrod’s recounting of being thrown under the bus by the NAACP and the Obama administration 24 years after the controversial episode  in question.

Is the Government Embezzling, or Underreporting Unemployment?

Read up at Zerohedge.org. There’s a nice analysis which shows that the government is paying out more money than is justifiable by the unemployment checks being doled out to the 9.5 million recipients which the Dept of Labor claims to be beneficiaries.

The actual total $ outlay $ is 35% in excess of the amount which would cover these unemployment claims. It is enough to pay 14 million recipients. So either there is considerable embezzling, or the actual number of unemployed being serviced by the government is far in excess of the claim we have been hearing.

Check this analysis out for yourself, and YOU decide if the government is stealing, or lying, or perhaps both!
