Obamacare Health Insurance Mandate Ruled Unconstitutional by 11 th Circuit Court

11th Circuit says mandate unconstitutional – Jennifer Haberkorn – POLITICO.com.

For the first time, a Democrat- appointed judge has ruled against Obamacare.  The standout Judge is Frank Hull, a Clinton Appointee, who concurred with Judge Joel Dubina, a Bush appointee, in the 2-1 decision.

The court has specifically struck down the mandate, and not the entire law as Judge Vinson did in an earlier decision.

The various decisions made on the Obamacare abomination will likely cause it to be brought  it to the Supreme Court this fall.

This most recent decision noted that there would be no limit the powers of Congress if it could force people to purchase health insurance, with Judge Stanley Marcus apparently thinking that this is OK.

Chemical Abortion

Pro-lifers recognize surgical abortion as killing humans, but not all of them recognize the scope of the problem presenting as chemical abortion. Generally we  recognize  mifepristone, the chemical formerly known as RU-486. The initial name of the drug  stayed with us, (the same as with the Artist formerly known as Prince).  Mifepristone is best known in the U.S. for its function to kill unborn humans during the embryonic stage, up to 49 days of pregnancy, although it has other investigational uses.

Meet the TWINS!  Ulipristal acetate and Mifepristone.  As you can see, they’re not quite identical, but very close. Both are selective progesterone receptor modulators.

Mifepristone, RU-486 is the most regulated drug in the U.S. Pharmacists don’t dispense it. It’s supposed to be dispensed only by physicians, directly to patients. In China and other countries it has been used as a morning after pill, as well as a killer of later embryos and early fetuses.

Those astute drug companies knew that this drug would not sell as a morning after pill in the U.S. That’s why we have it’s TWIN, Ulipristal Acetate, approved  by the FDA  in August , 2010,  and brought to us in by Watson Pharmaceuticals in December of the same year.  Watson also distributes Next Choice, generic of the original form of Plan B.

At 0.5mg/kg, Ulipristal Acetate, marketed as ELLA, is usable as a morning after pill. It’s marketed as an inhibitor of ovulation, but the manufacturer admits that the operative mechanism depends on the timing of its use. Like RU-486, Ulipristone is an anti-progesterone. It stops the action of that hormone in the reproductive tract, inhibits proliferation of the endometrium, inhibits implantation, and kills the embryo.

Romney Triple Flush

The social leftist wing of the Republican Party has been casting about for the Romney substitute, because they know he’s too liberal to garner votes from conservatives.

1) Romney had to argue against Obamacare, after instituting Romneycare, which contains most of the unsavory aspects of Obama’s  healthcare mess.

2) Romney believes in the religion of global warming.

3) American Right to Life   (remember their huge protest  sign at the DNC convention?)  won’t let anyone forget that Romney isn’t serious about his pro-life claims.  They’ve visited his fundraiser in Denver with a devastating reminder.  You can see them at Jill Stanek’s. “Dogging Romney” is not  really new to this group.

Tom Blumer at the Bizzy Blog provides the evidence supporting  American Right to Life’s  sign in Denver which reminds us:  “Romneycare: 50$ copay abortions” See the images of Romney care features, including the tax payer funded abortions.  Blumer also reminds us that Romneycare came complete with tax penalties for those who did not provide proof of health care coverage.

End of Obamacare waivers announced late Friday

Obamacare waivers get axe in last-minute Friday night news dump – Patriot Update.

There are about 1400 total waivers granted from Obamacare so far.   Late Friday there was a decision to halt any more waivers  to industries, which would be damaged by the new health care regulations, as of Sept. 22 this year.
There has been difficulty for the administration in justifying its choices of which businesses are worthy of preserving until 2012 by granting  waivers from the onerous cost of Obamacare regulations.

Jack Kevorkian Dead at 83

Assisted Suicide Crusader Jack Kevorkian Dies in Hospital | LifeNews.com.

Jack Kevorkian, the pathologist who undertook transferring living patients to those in his medical specialty ahead of schedule, has died after a hospital admission for renal failure and pneumonia.

The immediate cause of death is said to be pulmonary embolism, though multiple conditions and complications existed at the time of his admission.

Kevorkian was the most famous promoter and practitioner of physician assisted suicide in the US.  He was imprisoned for killing patients  (many of whom were not in terminal condition)  in locations where it is still illegal to do so.

Call a Waaaaaaaaaaambulance: students requested to clean toilet after use.

Hartford Toilet Teacher Investigated | NBC Connecticut.

A Hartford, Connecticut teacher, Catherine Saur,  is “under investigation” for her rule of having her art students clean the toilet [seat] with a spray cleaning product called Fantastic and a paper towel, after they used the bathroom.

Says the PTO secretary, Nancy Moreaux, who agrees with the teacher: “If you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat,” She believed that Saur was only trying to teach her students an important lesson.

The Kennelly school has four custodians but, according to NBC news,  the principal admits that the condition of cleanliness in the bathrooms is not good.

This frightening issue 😉  came to light when one student apparently suffered contact dermatitis as a result of using the Fantastik product.  The mother of that student doesn’t want the teacher fired, just an apology to her kid.  This mother stated that the toilet seat cleaning is for the  custodians.  (Who is the custodian in her house?)

Your friendly pharmer is coming down on the side of the teacher, who has been showing  her students, some of whom might never learn otherwise, that cleaning the bathrooms well can prevent the spread of disease.

As for the student with the contact dermatitis?  Vinyl gloves exist.  Or the cleaning product could be switched, though any  product could cause contact dermatitis in a susceptible individual.  The school can address his problem without spending thousands of dollars and wasting hours self-flagellating.

What is most likely to happen?   Ms. Saur, who appears to have adapted to the environmental conditions at her school,  will be suspended or fired.   The students will be forbidden to clean up after themselves in any way.  The poor sanitary condition of the bathrooms will continue.    Methods for preventing the spread of MRSA and other disease causing organisms will be neglected.  Health care dollars will be wasted, and preventable absenteeism will continue.

Report: Doctors Refusing to Treat Overweight Patients | CNSnews.com

Remember the obstetricians revolting against the crazy malpractice lawsuits and refusing to treat lawyers or their spouses?

Remember when the wrongful life lawsuits drove obstetricians in  France to refuse prenatal ultrasonography?

Report: Doctors Refusing to Treat Overweight Patients | CNSnews.com.

This new trend has a different basis, but  is completely EXPECTED.   The Obstetricians are now turning away overweight patients, citing a lack of equipment to take care of the very huge, and the high risks involved in the care, particularly in managing child birth.

Expect  MORE of the larger ladies  to be denied  prenatal care, and come into the emergency room, with neglected diabetes and other complications, ready to deliver.

Newt Gingrich Sticks With His Prior Health Insurance Mandate

Gingrich Knocks GOP Proposal for Medicare – WSJ.com.

It’s one thing that Gingrich and the Dems seem to  have in common: the idea that people  should be forced to purchase health care insurance.

Some people can afford to be ‘self insured’, and some would agree to take the risk and accept that no one cover them if they have a turn of bad luck.   Others are covered in private, voluntary groups in which people agree to pay for each others illnesses.

What in the U.S. Constitution allows the federal government to force us to purchase something?   Maybe Newt  (the washed up one) can tell us where to find this.

Obama’s IPAB Death Panel – Even Some Democrats Are Opposing it

It’s THAT bad!   Congress sees it as an unconstitutional removal of their authority over spending, by unelected officials.

Death Panels Crop Up Again as Obama Mentions IPAB in Medicare | LifeNews.com.

Another  mechanism by which Obamacare will gut the care of the elderly, in his deficit reduction plan,  is to further cut medicare and medicaid reimbursement so that health care providers are not able to stay in business while serving that patient base, in compliance with government regulations.   This leaves those individuals without the promised “free”  Obamacare,  which has been  the intention all along.
