How Would Obamacare Address This?

Man falls off surgical table; St. Joseph’s Hospital sued | StarTribune.com.

Now:  Stroke patient  Max DeVries,   is said to have rolled off an operating table and hit his head, prior to a surgery to replace a lumbar drain.   He later died from the injury, and the family is suing St Joseph hospital.   The Velcro straps on the table were insufficient to hold the 5′ 5″, 300 lb De Vries.

Later:  Under Obamacare,  Max DeVries would be denied the surgery, and the three  lumbar drains which preceded this one, due to his obesity, and status of unacceptable risk, and he would  have already been dead  from the swelling in his brain.

A lot of trouble and effort will be spared,  and hopefully  this will be a  comfort for Obama supporters in the future.

A Death Panel of One

Pro-Life Advocates Call Obama Pick Donald Berwick a One Man Death Panel.

David N. O’Steen  minces no words in calling Obama’s new Medicare and Medicaid Czar a one man death panel.

It is most gratifying to see more and more people catching on to what the Pharmer already knew….. socialized medicine = rationing, and death for the most vulnerable people.

This appointment of Donald Berwick bypasses senate approval, which would likely be difficult for such a flagrant proponent of rationed care.

From Lifenews:

“Berwick’s advocacy of the decimation of American health care is long-standing. In a 1994 Journal of the American Medical Association article, he wrote, “Most metropolitan areas in the United States should reduce the number of centers engaging in cardiac surgery, high-risk obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, organ transplantation, tertiary cancer care, high-level trauma care, and high-technology imaging.””

Read the Ultrasound Amendment, Charlie Crist!

Either the Florida Governor  did not read Senator Gardiner’s amendment to HB 1143 or he lied.  Probably the latter.

Read  Associated Press LIES about the content of the bill and the cost of the ultrasounds, which are not 750-1500.   Pharmer is not paying nearly  that much  for an ultrasound done this year.  It is in the range mentioned in the article  below.

A closer look at abortion and Florida’s proposed law – St. Petersburg Times.

So basically, the bill that Crist vetoed requires informed consent before abortion, which would prevent psychological troubles later, when women see ultrasounds of the babies they want to keep, and start grieving for the ones they aborted.

The women would have to pay for a relatively inexpensive ultrasound  (which could also reduce  troubles of missed ectopic pregnancies, and various abortion errors. )  Remember that many crisis pregnancy centers are offering these ultrasounds for no charge at all.

The woman could choose whether or not to hear about or see the ultrasound, and she would have to sign a form affirming refusal,  (as Pharmer did each time she refused prenatal, alpha feto protein testing.)  Many consent forms are associated with giving birth.  Why are such intrusions  considered acceptable while a form to refuse medical information is not?

The woman would be informed of the risks of abortion procedures, which should have been done anyway.

Always double check the  output of the Associated Press, as much of it is manure.

Abortion supporters have taken one more opportunity to show us clearly that women’s  health, and informed consent are NOT their concern.   Governor Crist as done the same,  for which he will soon be put out to political pasture.

Toilet brush ‘blunder’ death | The Sun |News

Toilet brush ‘blunder’ death | The Sun |News.

Pharmer collects  UK socialized medicine disaster stories, which are legion,  and here’s a doozie.

A woman fell in the bathroom  (too much drinkie) and six inches of a toilet brush handle had become embedded in her buttocks.

A series of  medical visits since 2005 yielded repeated misdiagnosis and no appropriate treatment. Finally things got so bad, the woman submitted to a surgery which resulted in her death from blood loss.

Dems Knew the Health Care Bill Would Increase Costs, Before the Vote

» Breaking: Dems Hid Damning Health Care Report From Public Until a Month After Vote! – Big Government.

The CBO can only use numbers provided by congress for scoring the economic impact of  a bill.  So if Congress cooks the numbers and presents to the CBO…….. well,  “garbage in, garbage out”.  However the Health and Human services Dept is  able to use other data for evaluating the economic impact of a bill.  Apparently they filed a report with Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before Congress passed Obamacare.

Sebelius kept this concealed until now.    So what was obvious to anyone who has observed government control of ANYTHING, is now undeniable even by the more dense members of Congress.   Obamacare will increase costs for everyone who works for a living.    Taxes will increase for millions of middle class  Americans.  Millions more Americans will be left without insurance as the private insurers implode under the new regulations, and as employers stop providing coverage.

You will hear next to nothing about this from the mainstream media.
