Kira Davis Drops the Big One on MSNBC “Analyst” Toure

Pharmer passes on video from another rising star, Kira Davis, who is worth the listen. Recall that Toure is the “analyst” who thinks that Romney some how has power or motivation to “ni*g*rize” Obama.

Black conservatives in general have to swim against the current of a majority who think that conservatism is only for White people, and they frequently pay a high social price. Oddly, this discrimination is based on the conservative label, rather than on the substance. More Black Americans tend to lean rightward on social issues, and very often on economic ones.

Pharmer has always looked up to people who are willing to pay a significant price in upholding their convictions. Tour the sidebar and find more people like Kira Davis.

Americans Don’t Trust Television News

Americans' Confidence in Television News Drops to New Low.

Non-news: Gallup Report mentions that CNN is attempting an internal review, which does not matter because their viewership is in the tank.

Political success for conservatives hinges on the fact that only 21 percent of Americans express confidence in television news. Fortunately, there’s an online replacement. Click above for the graphs and breakdowns.

If Gallup is obtaining 21 percent confidence among all Americans, it’s probably much worse among likely voters.

The good news is that no matter what the old media does, they probably have lost the ability to get Obama re-elected.

Physical Punishment and Mental Disorders: Results From a Nationally Representative US Sample.

You don’t have to read another poorly designed study  of unreliable data  because Pharmer has saved you the time. 

This so called study was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, by Canadian Researchers, using U.S. data

Face to face interviews were conducted by “trained lay interviewers of the U.S. Census Bureau”  with an expectation of honest answers about mental illness, substance abuse, and physical and sexual abuse.

Patients do not reliably  relate this information to their health care providers (who are legally constrained to keep it private). Pharmer is therefore  100 percent certain that the census workers were not able to obtain a usable body of data using face to face interviews. Respondents are not likely to report stigmatized or socially unaccepted conditions and  experiences with the following in mind: The government wants to know if you are experiencing mental illness, or if you were abused as a child. Your ability to be licensed for certain professions, or own a means of self defense may be affected.

You may comfortably throw away any conclusions presented from this study, and  laugh at those who present it as a means to persuade parents to  never  spank their kids on the behind as a corrective measure.

Obama Endorses FOX News

Obama: Turn Off Fox News.

Yep……. he wanted Fox turned off at Ziggy’s Pub and Restaurant, Amherst Ohio, when he popped in for a visit. (Buzz feed had add an explanation that Obama was only joking.)

While FOX is not the conservative repository of truth that some liberals might think it is, it’s not a total waste of time as some of the other networks are.

Pharmer watches no news networks, but instead reads the scoop from various online news sources from around the world.
Yours truly is deriving some amusement that FOX will be enjoying the same boost of listenership that Rush Limbaugh has obtained from Obama’s recommendation that we turn it off.

Old Media Governed From the White House

David Axelrod Gives Media Its Marching Orders.

Have you ever wondered how Rush Limbaugh’s staff creates its media montages of the newscasters saying almost exactly the same words about a given story?

It’s because the old media outlets have a direct line from the White House telling them what to say next.

John Nolte of Breitbart has captured some Tweeted marching orders from David Axelrod (that guy who sent the nice e-mail to Pharmer right after Obama was elected).

Nolte also reminds us of the Vetting of Obama, and the miserable June jobs numbers which have to be obscured by a media wave of coverage about Romney’s old tax shelters which the IRS has allowed for years.

Pharmer believes that a rich guy who doesn’t use legal tax shelters (to divert his money away from government waste) should be considered too stupid to be president.

The U.S. Divorce Rate is Not Really 50 Percent

Steven Crowder says that Liberals need to stop lying about divorce.  He suggests that the inflated numbers we’ve been hearing for many decades may be related to liberals excusing their own failures.  MEEOOOOWWW.   Here’s his opinion.

Where Crowder gets his idea is from the top link, a collection of data on marriage and divorce from the Survey of Income and Program Participation, (SIPP).

At worst, it appears that the divorce rate  approached a max of 40 percent, has been declining, and is at its lowest since 1970. 

There’s the suggestion that government bureaucrats keep themselves employed as administrators of social programs by touting inflated divorce statistics.

The peak is 22.8 divorces per 1000 couples in 1979, which fell to 16.7 divorced per 1000 in 2005.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Pro-Life Bus Firebombed in Rockford, Illinois | Video | TheBlaze.com.

The Blaze is covering the firebombing of a bus belonging to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy, because the local media of Rockford, Illinois is ignoring it.
Perhaps they don’t want the perpetrators to be caught. It is noted that similar, and probably unrelated, damage to another vehicle over the same weekend did attract attention of local news reporters.

Perhaps some bad feelings over the closure of the Rockford abortion clinic fueled the attack on the bus, which is well known for carrying pro-life messages in the community.

Happy Weinerversary: The Lessons of WeinerGate.

Memorial Day is a more solemn type of holiday, but Congressman Anthony Weiner provided us with a circus sideshow over this holiday weekend in 2011.

Dana Loesch recounts the days during which the conservative blogosphere overwhelmed the hush efforts by the main stream media, and eventually propelled one N.Y. Democrat Congressman, Anthony Weiner out of office, for showing his namesake to young ladies on yfrog social media.

The main point has not the particulars of Weiner’s very stupid actions, but a demonstration that the New Media of online bloggers and real journalists is fully capable of overwhelming the tired OLD Media. Collectively, all of us can fulfill the watchdog function which is protected in the First Amendment. This is what Andrew Breitbart showed us.

Why do the lefties only expect genteel behavior from us, and not themselves?

Media Research Center has a petition in support of Rush. Go there and sign it!

Brent Bozell mentions Rush’s apology for comparing Sandra Fluke to sluts and prostitutes, and notes that we have never heard apologies coming from leftie hate media for their treatment of our conservative female candidates.

Pharmer would like to add that Rush should not have applied the terms ‘slut’ and ‘prostitute’ when describing the activity of Sandra Fluke. It showed insensitivity toward ‘sluts’ and ‘prostitutes’. A large portion of females, commonly categorized as such, are not willingly assuming those roles. Many are sex slaves, or are under some kind of coercion. Some are mentally ill or addicted to drugs. A significant proportion of them are true victims of abuse. Some might argue that a portion of prostitutes are forthrightly providing a service for pay, and, by contrast, Sandra is not.

Sandra Fluke has calculated and worked for years to put herself in the public limelight she occupies now. She is not a real victim, though she is behaving as one. She’s a long time leftie activist, bent on further degrading women and their role in society.

There’s an illegal ad at tax payer funded whitehouse.gov, which contains a petition against Rush Limbaugh.

Contact these businesses and let them know that after leaving Rush for his assessment of Sandra Fluke, and because of their sponsorship of left wing hate radio…… they can be replaced.
