Twitter Veiled Threat to Trump Supporters

Today I got a little email, supposedly from Twitter. It’s to tell me about the horrible Russians manipulating their platform (to get Trump elected). Hilarious. Betcha every conservative who followed Donald Trump’s main account got this letter.

Right after Obama was elected, there was a cute email from David Axelrod:  Hello Pharmer, we’re watching you conservatives… This has the same kind of flavor.

Ya, Twitter is a joke. When Trump is out of there, Twitter is finished in the USA.  Bet they hate that fact.

FaceBook Doesn’t Know Why Their Fake News Labels Didn’t Work

It really has to do with the reputation of their curators for bias, and for promoting their decision.

Facebook is going to stop labeling what they think is fake news, because they noticed that the label is associates with more sharing, not less.  Now their hive mind will try to be more subtle, by continuing to bury opposing views, and by planting opposing articles next to the ones they don’t like.

Why will Facebook chug along for awhile?   It has lefties and boomers  (who have the money), to carry it along for awhile.  It will slowly die off, as the boomers do.  Younger people are moving on.  Business people have to hang out for awhile, to keep the boomer customers, but those targeting younger demographics are hitting the road.

That didn’t take long…. China has suspended Apple’s music vid and iBooks. How about that!! Can you guess why? Leftists take heed. China has a strong central government which censors what its people sees. And it doesn’t like the social agenda of the West and what it’s pushing, 24/7. Apple is completely mum about this because we’d all be wondering why they hate the religious freedom states here so much, but put up with China completely suppressing their “rainbow” content. Many of our other multi-national companies are behaving the same way. Western Christians are so much easier to cow than the Chinese, Russians and the Muslims.

The LA Times reported on this event, but naturally had NO CLUE as to what would cause China to shut down most of Apples content service.

One more time, lefties.  This is what’s going to happen when you build that utopia of your dreams, with the government controlling everything.  There will be a decision that your habits bring about extreme financial burdens, and then………. POOF!

Tim Cook’s Small Brick

Given that  people in China are routinely arrested for homosexual activity, and many land in jail for this type of “licentiousness”, Tim Cook’s offer of his “brick”  in the path of “justice” for gays seems not so momentous.

The CEO of Apple (which produces most of its products in China) imagines that he’s become more connected with the civil rights leaders of the past, by publicly announcing which kind of sex he likes.  Says Cook in  Bloomberg Business Week :

“When I arrive in my office each morning, I’m greeted by framed photos of Dr. King and Robert F. Kennedy. I don’t pretend that writing this puts me in their league. All it does is allow me to look at those pictures and know that I’m doing my part, however small, to help others. We pave the sunlit path toward justice together, brick by brick. This is my brick.”

After this offering……….. how is Tim Cook addressing his biiiig China difficulty?   Is it similar to the way that Warren Buffet addresses his own taxes vs. what you should happily pay?

11 % of Americans Think HTML is a Sexually Transmitted Disease.

They’re yukking it up at the LA Times, having found that many computer technology specific acronyms are not understood by most Americans.  The big Headliner is that a segment of the population confused HTML (hypertext markup language) with an STD.  Unlike the reporter at the Times…….. Pharmer has an idea why HTML brought  up infection in the minds of at least some of these people.  There really is a sexually transmitted infection called HTLV.  Yep…….. three initials in common with HTML.  It’s Human T Lymphotropic Virus. One of the types (HTLV I ) of this retroviral group  is associated with increased incidences of adult T cell leukemia and various other maladies.  It’s  an endemic problem in some parts of Asia, and of ongoing concern to the people who handle blood donations and banking.

Is This Stupid or is it Treason?

Did Belarusian programmers supply some of the Obamacare network software?  Inquiring minds want to know…..

Programmers linked to the government of Belarus claim to have supplied some of the code used in the Obamacare website. Valery Tsepkalo, of the Belarus government backed High Technology Park in Minsk, claimed (on Voice of Russia radio) that the HHS “is one of our clients” and that “we are helping Obama complete his insurance reform…..  Our programmers wrote the program that appears on the monitors in all hospitals and all insurance companies- they will see the full profile of the given patient“.   This interview is said to have occurred on 6-25-13, but security officials did not learn of it until early January.

This has U.S. intelligence agencies worried that there might be malicious code which could compromise the private data being entered into the health care network.  Belarus is a former Soviet state and remains closely allied with Russia.  Last year, a month long diversion of internet data, involving Belarusian networks, rerouted a great deal of U.S. traffic to Belarus.

Third prominent banker found dead in six days

Inquiring minds want to know — has prominence as a banker become a job hazard in this crazy economy?

William Broeksmit, 58,recently retired executive at Deutsche Bank AG (DBK).  A Jan 26 police report says a 58 year old man was found hanging at a residence on the street where Broeksmit is known to have lived, and the death isn’t regarded as suspicious.

Gabriel Magee, JP Morgan’t technology VP, 39, fell from the 33 story skyscraper in Canary Wharf, and landed on the 9th story roof. His girlfriend had reported him as missing the prior evening. His time of death is estimated at 8am on Jan 28.

Economist Mike Dueker, 50, chief economist of Russell Investments apparently committed suicide by jumping off of a 50 ft embankment at a Highway 16 ramp to the Tacoma Narrows bridge in Washington. He was found on the morning of Jan 30.

Three big bankers in rapid succession……… seems to have the folks at the Housing Wire spooked.

 

 

Computers Will Soon Surpass Leftists

Neural network styles of computing have enabled the design of computers which can mimic the abilities of the brain, though none are approaching the efficiency of said organ in a normal human.

On the near horizon are computers which can learn from their own mistakes.  Commercial versions of such types of computer chips are set for release in 2014. What this means is that this coming year, computers will surpass the minds of leftists.  Quite a bit more work will be required to bring the functioning of computers to the level of normally functioning humans, with the ability to from experience  to bypass, circumvent or otherwise avoid errors.

In the  future is the possibility of making the “crash”  (Obamacare, for example) completely obsolete, as computers are created with the ability to learn to adapt and compensate for malfunctions.

New Apple Approved Gay Social App is Targeted for Ages 12 and Up

Distinc.tt is the latest gay social app which is targeted for underage users as young as 12 years old.  You know how these kinds of apps work.  They are tied into location services of the smart phones.  All of the good buddies that you meet on this app have the potential to find your exact location.

The app is said to be targeted towards helping gay people to find the trendie, fun places to meet, rather than having a strict focus on where to get a hookup for sex.

Conservatives like yours truly would be worrying that if kids decide to get the app for one reason or another, it gives up their location to whatever heat seekers  they might add to their contacts (unless the location settings are turned off).  That could be a problem to the youngsters in addition to the other social apps they might have running, with the privacy settings underutilized.

If your kid has Distinc.tt running on the smartphone, there’s your sign.
