Study Suggests India Was Right to Utilize Television for Birth Control

The power of TV: watching 20 hours a week halves sperm count, according to new study – Health News – Health & Families – The Independent.

Another sperm study is associating inactivity, obesity and particularly watching television more than 20 hours per week with markedly reduced sperm counts.

A Study of 189 healthy, young  men, appearing in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, tracked them for three months, observing diet, activities and sperm quality.   It found that men who watched the most television showed a 43%  reduction in sperm count, under those who watched the least.

Subjects who were the most active (more than 15 hrs of exercise per week) showed 73% increase in sperm count over those who were the least active.

Men who were active, but watched the most TV, also showed reduced counts.

The original rationale behind the Plan in India to give out televisions as birth control devices,  was that people would be too distracted and tired from staying up all night watching the tube.   The above study adds another mechanism by which television watching can lower the baby making.

Islamic Preacher Pays Fine, is Released from Jail after Raping, Torturing and Killing Daughter

Fayhan al-Ghamdi, a popular Islamic preacher and television guest,  doubted the virginity of his 5 year old daughter.  This is the claimed excuse for raping, torturing and killing her.

Lamia al-Ghamdi  (or Lama) was admitted to the hospital on Dec 25, 2011, with multiple injuries including a crushed skull, broken back,  and indications that she had been “raped everywhere”.  There was an attempt to burn her rectum shut.  She died on the following Oct 22nd.

The father served a short time in jail, but was released upon paying a fine,200,000 riyals ($50,000 US) of  blood money, to the nearest kin.  Activists in Saudi Arabia are protesting the light sentence.

Lamia’s death is said to serve as punishment, and this justified the light sentence for her father.   Islamic law does not permit execution for a male who murders his children or wife.

The scary thought is if  al Ghamdi has a wife or wives remaining with him.

“The women’s rights activist Manal al-Sharif and others issued a press release on Feb 2, and launched a Twitter campaign using the hashtags #AnaLama (Arabic for “I am Lama”) and #IamLama, demanding legislation criminalizing violence against women and children.”

IRS Document Reveals Projected 2016 Cost of Obamacare.

What the IRS thinks that a small family will be paying for Obamacare in 2016 is available on page 56 of this government generated document.  Please pass this link to every “low information voter” you know, particularly those living in the blue states.

If you have a small family, do you think that $20,000 dollars per year to pay for health care insurance alone is “affordable”???  Do you think that this is an improvement over  your current  health insurance  situation?

This IRS document actually deals with the criteria for determining how much penalty would be paid by those who choose not to buy health insurance.  The examples given in the document, specify some estimates of costs  of health care policies for individuals and for families.

Wacky WaPo puts article on Reproductive Coercion under its ON FAITH heading

Doctors warn against ’reproductive coercion’ – The Washington Post.

Of considerable amusement is the placement of an article on reproductive coercion (which does not mention faith or religion)  under the “On Faith” heading.  Perhaps the WaPo editors could explain that.

The article goes on to explain the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists big concern that men might be coercing women to get pregnant by refusing to use condoms, inducing condom failure, or tugging out the IUD.  It goes on to suggest means by which this can be thwarted, including having a stash of the not very effective morning after pills.

Would the ACOG like to include itself under this warning about reproductive coercion?  ACOG and affiliates  have been marketing pills and other birth control modalities to women, thereby eliciting massive changes in behavioral trends.    Of extreme importance is the fact that the birth control methods which women are encouraged to rely on, are not nearly as effective in actual use as they are claimed to be in “perfect use”.  This has lead to  millions of unplanned pregnancies, and millions of abortions.
Reproductive coercion has been the result as the  ACOG seemingly fails to acknowledge   that a natural consequence of the kind of sex which makes babies is …….. BABIES!!!

It would be encouraging to see the ACOG and so-called women’s advocacy groups show a bit more interest in reducing sex slavery, sexual abuse of minors, coercion and incest, even though that might reduce the need for their services.   Those golden handcuffs seem to be an impediment.

Pastors challenge IRS rule with partisan talk – BakersfieldCalifornian.com

Pastors challenge IRS rule with partisan talk – BakersfieldCalifornian.com.

What makes most non profit 501 (C)(3) tax exempt groups so quiet about their causes? Why are they afraid to name names, and speak loudly against the politicians who oppose them? On this past Pulpit Freedom Sunday, more than 1500 Pastors openly defied the 1954 IRS regulation which sought to squash political speech by non profit groups, by scaring them with the IRS boogieman.
In all these 58 years, the IRS has done next to nothing against politically activist churches and non-profits. The IRS has only succeeded in stripping one church of its tax exempt status, in 1992. That particular church in Binghamton, NY ran newspaper ads against Bill Clinton and his positions on abortion and homosexuality.
Since then the IRS has sent only warning letters to a relatively few churches, and since then has had a policy of not enforcing this law.
The Pulpit Freedom Sunday supporters believe that the IRS fears losing ground on this First Amendment issue.

So…….. Why are so many churches and pro-life 501(c)(3) groups so quiet and polite about the political issues which impinge on their cause?
Why don’t they take a chance with their own careers, and income, as so many pro-life health care professionals have been doing? If they led by example, more people would be standing up and taking personal risks to stand up for life.

Don’t forget, the supposedly non-profit, tax funded, and tax exempt planned unparenthood has been openly funding and endorsing candidates for years.
