A Congressional Management Foundation survey reveals that Congressional aides in Washington DC, who make between $95,000 and $170,000 yearly are fretting over the cost and coverage of Obamacare. One staffer commented: “Everyone felt as if we were pawns in this political argument,” says The Politico.

Remember, these are the people who write the regulations emanating from the multi-thousand page “Affordable” Care Act. They’re feeling put upon by the cost of Obamacare, even though the Feds are subsidizing 75% of their cost.

The bureaucrats and legislators of the federal government are living in a dream world. How can they complain about any aspect of the bill which they are inflicting on Americans, whose median family income dropped to $51,017 as of Sept 2013?

The federal subsidy for these Washington bureaucrats is funded by the very families who are only making half or a third of their salary. How do the idiots in government think Obamacare, or the subsequently planned single payer plan, is going to work????

The IRS is adding new regulations which would cement in place the kind of treatment they gave to Tea Party and various other grass roots groups which sought to enter the American political process by educating and encouraging voter participation.

The Top 40% Pay 106% of Taxes

Rush Limbaugh has announced another “random act of journalism” coming from CNBC.

The Congressional Budget office found from the 2010 census that the top 40 percent of wage earners paid 106 percent of income taxes. The bottom 40 percent of wage earners contributed NEGATIVE 9 percent. In other words they got federal money that they didn’t earn, which comes from those of us who fund this debacle of a government.

Find the data in table 3 on page 13 of the CBO Report.

Should the leftie media be apologizing to Mitt Romney for his comment about 47 percent of people who are on the take??? Should he sue them, redistribute their wealth, and feed some starving lawyers? Pharmer grants an exceptional line to CNBC because of the priceless headline : “The rich do not pay the most taxes, they pay ALL the taxes.”

The Alinsky-ites have been hard at work training people to hate the rich for this, and so far they’ve been pretty effective.

From the discussion between Rep Cory Gardner and Henry Chao, (deputy chief information officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), one might surmise that the Obamacare Website is about 60 percent complete, and it is the payment systems which send money to the companies which issue policies.

“There’s the back office systems, the accounting systems, the payment systems … they still need to be done,” said Chao.

This ought to make the health insurance companies really comfortable…..

Meanwhile, David Kennedy, head of TrustedSEC, an information security firm, has testified before the house Science, Space and Technology committee that the Obamacare website is prime hacker bait, because security wasn’t built into the site from the beginning. He thinks that the SQL injection attacks against the healthcare.gov website mean that it’s being hacked right now. That should make everyone feel more secure in doing business with the Obama administration.

Blue State Blues: From ‘Porn Goggles’ to ‘Back-Alley’ Abortions.

Joel Pollak of Breitbart comments on the big sex regulators who accuse the conservatives of intrusion into people’s private lives. He notes that the left wing in California passed legislation which imposes condom inspections on the porn industry. Even now they’re suggesting that safety goggles be worn by porn actors to prevent transmission of diseases through fluids getting into the eyes.

The left has laid itself open for all sorts of backlash against the intrusive nature of its governance, from safety seats for 12 year olds, to the myriad smoking regulations and prohibitions.

The latest in the leftie war on women is a law allowing non physicians to perform abortions on women. Californians are now working on a referendum to overturn AB-154, which effectively had legalized back alley style abortion in that state.

Three Mexican Police Dead, Explosives from DOJ Grenade Walking Scandal at Scene.

AWR HAWKINS at Breitbart reports that Grenade components from a U.S. bombmaker who was allowed to continue funneling such items to Mexican drug cartels, were found at the scene of an explosion that killed three Mexican cops.

The DOJ refused to prosecute Jeane Baptiste Kingery when he was apprehended in 2009. He was permitted to continue to ply his trade, with the claim that they would track his explosives as they were transported to Drug cartel members.

Another Canadian train derailment on October 20 made an inferno of 13 railroad tanker cars filled with propane and crude oil.

This follows the train derailment, 3 months ago in Quebec, which took 47 lives and left a disastrous mess.

Railroads are carrying the vast majority of oil out of the booming North Dakota. Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway is enjoying the profits from North Dakota’s Oil transport from the U.S. all the way to refineries in Nova Scotia. Is there a policy connection?

Environmental impact and human lives seem not to be a government priority.

Over at Twitchy.com is a set of pics showing the government shutdown of the Martin Luther King Memorial. The government has apparently paid extra for this open air, 365 day a year memorial to be closed off to the public. Yes indeed……… the first Black president has shut down the MLK memorial site. Pharmer thinks it’s because Obama found out that Rev. King was a REPUBLICAN. 😉

More Government Priorities

The NIH has stopped therapy dog visits for kids who are sick with cancer, due to the government shut down, but the U.S. Army contracted on October 7 to buy a $47,000 dollar mechanical bull.

The police arrested Vietnam veterans at the War Memorial in New York City because they stayed out too late during a protest of the war in Afghanistan. If you recall, Occupoopers protesting Wall Street were able to camp out 24/7, and disrupt travel and commerce in the city.

The Park Service in in Washington is permitting a pro-amnesty rally on the supposedly closed National Mall. You just have to be on the left side for your protests and rallies to be allowed to proceed in Obamaville.
