Nuclear Panic: Media Finally Reacts to Criticism from People Who Know Better

Risks from radiation low in Japan but panic high – Yahoo! News.

The above headlined article comes from AP…. FINALLY.   After enough commentary from people who know better,  reporters and editors from AP produced a respite from the media efforts to kill more  people through the production of baseless fear.

Yes,  shutting down power plants causes deaths of people who have become reliant on such things.    The U.S. media, by feeding anti-nuclear panic has, up to this point,  been serving as the death-panel of the “greenies”.

Undaunted, the Obama administration will throw millions of tax dollars into causing more damage by encouraging and funding the evacuation of U.S. citizens from Japan.

Death Threats from Moribund Time Magazine

A link to Time.com is worthless, except to illustrate that the lefties Know  the  Obama request for civility does not apply  to them.

Watching Time.com is similar to viewing the death process of a tree.  You know it’s on the way out, but it takes years to quit pushing out a few leaves.   Thus it is with the agonal reporting at Time.com

Wisconsin: Gov. Walker Wins, but Protest Anger Not Over – TIME.

This is their headline.

“Wisconsin’s Governor Wins, but Is He Now Dead Man Walker?”

Pharmer thinks that looks enough like a death threat, especially after all the email coming to the Republicans from the Thugs.

A couple lines from Time.com’s first paragraph, concerning the aftermath of union protests in Madison Wisconsin:

“The Wisconsin State Capitol had taken on an eerie quiet by late Friday.”………….”The chalk outlines around fake dead bodies etched with Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s name remained in dismembered parts, not yet completely washed away by hoses.”

Yep,  death threats from the Unions and Time.com for Governor Walker.  That’s the leftist civility.

NPR CEO Resigns

NPR president Vivian Schiller resigns | Poynter..

It’s imploding over there at NPR in the wake of James O’Keefe and Co’s latest caper, embarrassing two top execs of the fundraising department.

Scroll down for the video which led to all this uproar, and note that it says .. “to be continued”.

It is said that James O’Keefe targeted NPR after the firing of Juan Williams
. One of his compatriots, Shaughn Adeleye was particularly irritated by that turn of events.

Inquiring minds want to know if the “to be continued” part of the video is leading to the rapid melt down.

Update.. Ron Schiller, the exec implicated in O’Keefe’s video, has given up his prospective job at the Aspen Institute, a ‘non profit research’ entity.

Networks Allow Scant Coverage of Obama’s ‘Stunning Reversal’ on Guantanamo, Harassed Bush | NewsBusters.org.

Rush Limbaugh will celebrate his “I told you so”, Guantanamo Bay preservation moment with his listeners and very few others.

NewsBusters catches the media, which formerly covered Guantanamo obsessively under the Bush administration, almost completely ignoring Obama’s 180 degree turn on the issue.

Asked how he had been  so sure that Guantanamo would never be closed down,  Rush Limbaugh attributed it to his understanding  that liberals always lie. He stated that using this premise, a person would be right far more often than they would be wrong.

Given Limbaugh’s record on predicting future events in politics, one has  to grant  credit where it is due.

WaPo: History Made! Whitehouse has Gaydar

44 – Obama makes history with social secretary pick.

Of uppermost importance to the Washington Post is not the political and career credentials of Jeremy Bernard.  Top most in the headlines and in the article is Bernard’s sexual preference.   Incidentally, his topmost pertinent accomplishments are probably in the area of Obama fundraising.

In times past, history was made by accomplishments, and these were highlighted, with the personal lives of our renowned heros something that had had to be dug up by those with interest in the matter.

Now the personal life is on top, with the accomplishments a bare footnote.

We see what’s most important to the left.

We also see why gay people who can see the whole picture have turned conservative.   Those with brains prefer the society with an economy that could sustain them, and in which they could keep their heads.

Down the road from Obama…… an economy and obamacare which can’t sustain gays, and a theocratic political system which has shown a propensity for chopping off the heads of homosexuals.

Obama needs to come out of the closet.  He chooses these symbolic means of supporting his interest in gay rights, rather than overtly coming out in their favor.   His fear of coming out  has led him into constitutional issues, as he has been picking and choosing which laws to enforce. The executive branch is supposed to enforce all of them.

Whacked Out Lawrence O’Donnell Does not Know Tax Law

O’Donnell and Congressman Jason Chaffetz of Utah.

Watch this leftist, fruit&nut-cake, Lawrence O’Donnell say that money which is not spent on rent or motel rooms should be declared a second time as income. He also states that it is illegal to sleep in the Capitol building. This is funny, since we have video showing legislators doing this while “on the job”. Kudos to Chaffetz for saving money so he doesn’t have to hitch a free ride on a military jet to fly home.

Congressman sleeps during State of the Union speech.

Can’t Blame Sen. Byrd for Snoozing through Reid’s Speech.

Check out the Love at this Common Cause Rally

Just in case you’re tempted to listen to leftist’s preaching about civility…..

Here’s some unCIVIL rhetoric from “progressives” at a rally organized by Common Cause calling negative attention to the Kochs. Video is taken by Christian Hartsock, who appears not to have had a hard time finding leftist crazies wishing mayhem and death to their political opposition. Common Cause has had to spit out a statement condemning the incivility of its own crowd.

Media Creates a “Backlash” Against Cyber Socializing

Social networking under fresh attack as tide of cyber-scepticism sweeps US | Media | The Observer.

Yes, the leftie press is  criticizing the social interaction on the internet, as it becomes the more reliable mix for obtaining news, and edges out the old  media.

This article manufactures a luddite leftie movement harkening back to a  time  when (?) leftists used to talk to each other and assist each other in real life.

In the Blue cities, crimes  occur in plain view, out on the street, with no one intervening.   Urban denizens  die alone in their apartments, with no one wondering what happened until the remains are mummified, or degraded down to the bones.   So this article’s lament about the facebook suicide occurring without immediate intervention rings hollow.

The negative of internet surfing  and socializing is that it’s somewhat addictive, particularly in the cold winter months.   The positive aspect is that people with severe disabilities have been able to converse on an equal social footing  with others, in an online  setting, without notice given to their physical difficulties.

The availability of computers and  internet, coupled with  the ability to work from home,  has also decreased the waste of talent of those with physical limitations or mental illnesses.  Now that they have more available avenues of  productivity,   as well as a voice,  leftists have less excuse to “abort”  them at any stage of life.

Kieth Olbermann booted from MSNBC slot

The acquisition of MSNBC by ComCast has just been approved, and on the heels of that is the firing of Leftie commentator, Kieth Olbermann, from his primetime slot.

He’s to be replaced by Lawrence O’Donnell, along with a reshuffling of the night time lineup.

It’s trading one  leftie for another, so the move is no big deal, except for a change of style.   When Olbermann was around, people could have reassurance that they were  doing the right thing if Olberman listed them as his Worst Person in the World.

Teaparty moves to recall Tucson sheriff Clarence Dupnik.

Outspoken Tucson sheriff faces recall bid – Washington Times.

Teapartiers have initiated a bid to recall the mouthy leftie, Sheriff Clarence Dupnik,  and will hold a rally to kick off their signature drive.  They need to collect over 90,000 signatures (almost a fifth of the registered voters) in order to hold a special election to replace him.

It’s an uphill battle, but perhaps enough Tucsonians have tired of being flagellated verbally for the crimes of Jared Loughner.
