Rion Paige blew the X Factor judges away, covering a Carrie Underwood song. She’s got great vocal chops for a 13 year old, and is somewhat of a celebrity already, in Jacksonville, Florida. A Musical Cure for Miley-mal

The Blaze has offered this touching song and story of a 96 year old man, who wrote song lyrics about his recently deceased wife. On impulse Fred, the grieving widower, snail-mailed it in to a local studio as a contest entry. He never imagined his song going viral on the net. This Video tells the story of the song and the decision by Jacob Colgan of Greenshoe Studio to professionally produce it. Should you choose to purchase “Oh Sweet Lorraine” on i-Tunes, the proceeds will help to support Fred Stobaugh, who says his 75 year marriage was like a dream, and he wishes he could do it all over again.

Hitler’s Doctors Said He had Homosexual Tendencies

An Army Interrogator, Herman Merl, a medical technician from Vienna, interviewed Adolf Hitler’s personal physicians, Karl Brandt and Theodor Morell. In the resultant assessment of Hitler’s sexuality, Merl scribbled “Homosex”, says the Washington Examiner.

Merl’s other notes: “Eva Braun = separate rooms”. “Female hormone- injection 50,000 units”
“His sexual life and intercourse with Eva Braun was told to me.”

The records also mention Hitler’s hysteria, megalomania, flatulence, and that he had been injected with bull semen. (That would have created quite a negative physiological reaction.)

Redtails: Another BAD Idea from Washington

The PC police are on the march, trying to get the Washington Redskins to change their name.

David Grosso, a Washington D.C. councilman, has expressed his desire to change the “racist and derogatory” name to Redtails. The ever sensible Robert Griffin III tweeted in response: ‘In a land of freedom we are held hostage by the tyranny of political correctness.’

Your friendly Pharmer has heard of the Tuskegee Airmen who served with distinction in World War II, but did Not remember that their aircraft had red tails. So the name Redtails certainly did not evoke this, nor the Airmen themselves.

If a person wants to you to think about the whole bird, they don’t say Redtail, they say Redtail Hawk:

The hawk’s tail isn’t that red.

Unfortunately, just hearing the term Redtails by itself, a very bright red image came to mind that rendered David Grosso’s effort a TOTAL FAIL.

Was William Blakely, Flasher Driver, a Democrat?

On the underside of the internet, inquiring minds have been wondering what is wrong with former Alderman William Blakely of Mt. Carmel, Hawkins County, Tennessee. He’s been charged with many incidents of reckless driving while multitasking. One of his hands was NOT on the wheel, and he was apparently making matters visible to other drivers.

Witnesses have complained that his antics are a hazard on the road, very distracting to himself and fellow travelers.

Yes, Tennessee has its very own, mobile version of Anthony Weiner.

The burning question of the week has been answered..….... William Blakely ran as an INDEPENDENT in the 2008 elections. So all those who guessed that he was (naturally) a Democrat are not correct this time. 😉

His driving habits are not heterosexual, not homosexual….. but autosexual Willie is a middle of the road kind of guy……. the perfect moderate.

Did a Nursing School Really Boot a Military Veteran Student Out for Playing With a Gun Phone App

No Way!!!!! The Blaze and the Todd Shnitt Radio show have revealed an apparent Nursing School Obamanation! Dan, a 33 year old military vet reports being suspended from Ultimate Medical Academy, Tampa, FL, for showing Android Phone app, Gun Club 2, to a fellow student.

Is this for real? The story is that a female student complained to administrators that she felt a threat to her life due to the awesome sound of this phone app. Dan says the sound quality is pretty wimpy. Pharmer has the i-Gun app, and yes……… the sound from small phone speakers does not, in any way, convey the true sound of gunfire.

UMA Spokesperson, Linda Weldon, has assured everyone that UMA will not be commenting on this incident, which is good, because nothing is going to help the reputation of this school, which advertises itself as military friendly, after the word gets out.

Enquiring minds want to know that if a student is traumatized by the sound of a phone gun app, what good will she be as a nurse? How will she handle dementia patients, violent patients, or sex offenders in the various clinical settings?? Is she the preferred quality of student for UMA to send into the Obamacare environment??

One of those commenting at the Schnitt show was pondering whether the Ultimate Medical Academy should have accreditation with the Department of Veterans Affairs if they would allow a military veteran to blow 40,000 dollars and get within three months of graduating, only to expel him for playing a phone app.

Dan has obtained some G.I. Bill tuition assistance as a veterans’ benefit. Do avail yourself of the Shnitt link to see that he is NOT likely a waste of money. Would this suspension mean that UMA is burning your tax dollars??? A possible side story is that Dan might be experiencing backlash for objecting to fellow students cheating, and copying teachers’ test materials. Perhaps the Veterans administration would like to investigate UMA’s accreditation and use of G.I. Bill funds.

Hear the Songs at Wolf Creek Habitat

We’ve got a Wolf Sanctuary nearby, with Rescued Wolves, and a listener decided to post a video of them singing, online. Wouldn’t you know, the vid went viral, and the comments had to be shut down, because the Sanctuary was getting obnoxious mail from environmental whackos and animal ‘lovers’, complaining about the animals being penned up. People who want a cushier habitat for the rescued wolves, don’t complain at the Wolf Creek people, send them your MONEY.

Obama Should have Stayed on the Golf Course

It seems that when Obama gets out in public, it’s not all unicorns, rainbows and fainting fans anymore. He’s experienced some audience dissatisfaction over the Easter weekend. At Port of Miami, he gave a speech which received some negative response. On the following Saturday, Obama appeared with his good buddy Reggie, at an NCAA final 8 playoff, after some time on the golf course. He was booed vigorously when the cameras focused on his visage and pasted him up on the monitors.
