Andrew Sullivan, blogger at Newsweek Magazine said it. ABC, Daily Mail and Drudge Report gave a preview of the cover of the May 21 issue.
Kevin DuJan, Editor of Hillbuzz tells us that Obama has been on the GAYDAR for a very long time.
From the Administration, Van Jones has been preparing us for the news.
The lamestream media likely will be telling us that Obama gets this credit from Newsweek magazine for his endorsement of gay marriage, and that it’s somewhat similar to Bill Clinton being called the first Black president.
Pharmer is betting that Kevin has been correct all along.
Barak Obama is our president, whether we like him or not, whether he belongs to our party or not, whether we approve of his policies or not, whether we voted for him or not. As such, he deserves a certain respect, just because he's the president. To say that someone is gay when that person has not told you so is disrespectful. We shouldn't be saying such things about him unless he says them about himself first.
(Just for the record, I don't support Obama. I want a pro-life president, which he adnits himself that he isn't.)
1) Respect is earned. Obama is deficient in that area.
2) Whether a person is respectable is not linked so much to their sex preference as it is to their treatment of others.
3) Public figures are subject to public scrutiny about all sorts of personal qualities. It goes with the territory.
